Rotate it left or right, push it up, down, left or right, or press it to navigate joystick-style through different radio stations, or to access folders and files. The rotary commander works like a joystick, giving you speedy control over the headunit. You can control all of the headunit’s functions with the rotary commander single dial. The RCA pre-outs let you create the exact sound you want, with the focus on complete flexibility. Depending on whether your headunit comes with 1, 2 or 3 RCA pre-outs, you can customise your sound system with separate amplifiers for the front speakers, the rear speakers, and/or a subwoofer. ![]() RCA pre-outs enable you to easily expand your sound system. ![]() The IP-Bus connection is used to hook up, for example, hide-away TV tuners and DVD players, or Pioneer’s Bluetooth®, iPod and USB adapters. Pioneer headunits with an IP-Bus connection allow you to hook up a wide variety of source units, thus expanding your in-car experience even further. This results in improved sound quality and a wider dynamic range. By providing a strong signal with less noise and more definition, the hi-volt pre-outs reduce demand on the input circuit of the amps so they can work with lower gain settings.
